Cecelia had long lurked and stood by in her sister's shadows, never getting the attention she so fervently hoped for. But all was well with her, she wasn't envious or jealous at all. When finally somebody expressed his desire for her, Cecelia was quite hopeful, she thought, finally she was loved because of who she was, and not because of her affiliation with her siblings.

Alexander Thompson liked a woman who was hard to get. He wanted to do the chasing, and with Cecelia, he believed she was a fruit ripe for the picking. He declared his love for her, even asked for her hand in marriage, but there was this other man Cecelia had her sights on. There was Isaiah Rourke, a stable boy but with the pureness of heart. Both men wanted her, but only one had her heart.

Rumors of deceits on Mr. Thompson and threats on Cecelia's had resulted to a haste decision and a big mistake. Just when Cecelia had finally learned who she really wanted, she ended agreeing to marry the man she so despised in the end.

This third book in the Civil War/Southern Romances is probably my favorite. Freedom Forever is about Cecelia and her quest for true love after her brothers and sisters had found their own. I wouldn't say she was envious, but I know how she felt being left alone and unwanted.

They say, when you're hurt and angry, do not make sudden decisions, because you will regret the outcome sooner or letter and will get you devastating results. Never make a deal with the devil, never succumb to threats and slander. Those are just some of the things I've learned from this book. It was such an engaging and romantic read (and yes, very sexy and erotic, too). Plus, there's a bonus! A spy within thir midst and a lady enforcer wearing breeches. That's what made this story really entertaining from start to finish. Thumbs up for Lexy Timms for another successful book in the series! Couldn't wait to see what happens next!

Loved the Ending

This one told a good story, though it does have a tad of sex in it. I loved how the spy helped the family with their problems in the end. Just goes to show that sometimes the one whom is thought to be the most honorable is not always as it appears. Things are not always as they seem. Good plot. Much better than Book 1. I have one more book in the set to read and review. Books 2 and 3 were much better than the first one. I like that the evil one gets his just in this one. I could visualize the characters in my mind, and I love the way Cee fell for the right guy in the end, though that part was predictable. The mistress and the spy were unpredictable, and I enjoyed those twists.

Loved this book!!!

I was really excited to see Danny and Jesse work through all their troubles. This book made me laugh and cry and cheer Danny on in his quest for the perfect wedding. I'm not gonna spoil the ending but I hope to see more stories in the future!!! Cosmo and the others need stories too!!!

For this review, I chose Teacher: The Final Act by RL Merrill. This is the final book in the Hollywood Rock n Romance Triology. Book #1 is called The Teacher. Book #2 is called The Teacher: Act 2. Both great books. I couldn't wait to read this book.

I received a copy of the ebook for a honest review of this book.

I have a lot to write about this book. But not sure where to start. First, it's great to be back with Jesse, Danny, and Janey. It's sad that this is the last book of this series. I would love to see a book about Cosmo.

Jesse has many fears she needs to overcome before she can give into the idea of being Mrs Danny Black and that that entitles. She is used to taking care of herself and not relying on anyone for help. She needs to let Danny help her more.

As you can tell, Jesse is my favorite character in this book. She's a strong woman, who tells you like it is. Living with RA, she lives in pain. There's days where is struggles with moving. I am like Jesse. I live in chronic pain with good and bad days. My husband is like Danny. Always taking care of me. Another way I am like Jesse is when she was talking about her desk. She says "I walked through the library and decided my desk needed some unlcuttering, a task I often did when I was avoiding paperwork. " (88%). My desk goes through a cycle. Uncluttered to cluttered to uncluttered to cluttered. It's always due to paperwork.

Danny and Jesse had too many obstacles to get through. I believe more to come in their marriage. As I read the end (91%), I was remembering marrying Shawn almost 19 years ago. We have had many obstacles. I know there will be more to come, but they are not obstacles to me, but moments that made us stronger together than apart.

Not only I recommend this book, but the first 2 books too. I want to read Road Trip: A Rock Season from this author.

Sad to see this series end

Teacher: The Final Act is book 3 of this fantastic series. These books must be read in order and can not be read as stand alones.

In this book we get more tears from Danny & Jesse (a lil too much for my taste but I guess they let their emotions run amuck. ) It didn't stop me from loving the book, just caused me to pause at times and roll my eyes. Yes it would be nice to have a man that isn't afraid to show his emotions like that but at times it just didn’t' seem necessary.

As for the storyline itself, it was fantastic as always. The story took up where the previous story left off. The best party, we finally get to see Danny and Jesse get their HEA. Even though all this happened in just a years time, it seems like it took them forever to finally get to that point.

We do get to witness Danny having a few of his "dick" moments but Jesse was able to talk him back from the edge of the cliff. Throughout there is laughter to be shared, deceit by some, redemption for others and a few violent moments that did not go into graphic detail. There was also a wee bit of romance and some hot, steamy, panty melting sexy goodness. We also learn a tidbit from Danny's past that I wish had gone into great detail but it was only skimmed over. Let's just say it involved Alex and I would loved' to have read that part for sure!! But anyway….back to this review…

Written as a single pov. I would have loved to have seen Danny's thoughts and feelings through out this book. I'm sure he had some pretty strong opinions and reactions that I would have loved to have witnessed. It would have also been cool to see some of the events of while he was away on tour and how he handled the women that were lurking in the back ground I am sure.

All in all, another fantastic read and a great finale to the story.

Would I recommend this book? Yes - but you must read 1 and 2 first.

Del is C. H. Lundquist Professor of Marketing and Chair of the Marketing Department at the University of Oregon. He has served as Director of the MBA Program, Director of the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship, Director of the Oregon Executive MBA Program, Interim Director of the Museum of Art, and Associate and Acting Dean of the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon. He has also taught at Southern Illinois University, Xiantan University (PRC), the Netherlands School of Business, in Boston University’s Overseas Program, Xiamen University (PRC), and the Institute for International Studies and Training in Japan.
